Porongurup Range Tourist Park is 380kms south-east of Perth, 48kms north of Albany, and, 22kms east of Mount Barker. The Park is situated opposite the main entrance to the heritage listed Porongurup National Park in an idyllic location with magnificent views. All sites are grassed and are nestled around beautiful shady trees. More than 1,100 millions years have passed since the formation of the Porongurup Range. "An Island of Karri" which rises majestically from surrounding farmland and is rich in rugged beauty and landscapes.
The recently opened world-class Sky-Walk at Castle Rock is a MUST DO and only one of the excellent walks and attractions offering breathtaking panoramic views. Both the Range and surrounds and Twin Creeks Conservation Reserve are ablaze with spectacular wildflowers from September on and the bird-life is prolific all year round.
